A person must obtain a Masters Degree from an Athletic Training Accreditied university and pass a the National Certification Exam

Sleep Routine

It is recommended that Student Athltes aim for 8-10 hours of sleep  each night. Experts also state that for intense training schedules may benifit from closrer to 9-11 hours for optimal recovery and performance. 

Mental Health Considerations
 

Student Athlete common mental health challenges include Anxiety & Stress, Depression, Eating Disorders, and Burnout and some warning signs to monotor: Behavioral shifts, Physical and Sleep Changes, and Stigma Barriers

Hydration

It is recommended that student athletes should aim for a daily baseline of approximately half the body weight in ounces of water, plus an extra liter or 16-24 ounces for every hour of intense training for optimal results. 

Nutrition

Student Athltes need a balanced diet focused on Carbohydrates for energy, Protein for muscle repair and proper Hydtation to support athletic performance and normal physical growth.
